ENERGY EFFICIENT APPLIANCES

Basic Principle of Technology. Energy efficient appliance is a device consuming less electric current or is the high efficiency equipment. If it is an air conditioner, it refers to the less electrical energy it used for more cooling it operated. In case it is the lighting system, it means the lamp quality to emit more light by using less electrical energy. And for re- frigeration, it refers to the refrigeration capably generate the cooling as required by less electricity consumed. The power consumption by typical electric appliances will be as presented in the Table.

Choosing the Energy Efficient Appliances. Should select the electric appliances at proper sizing and necessary for real applications. Additionally, for each appliance to be selected, should compare with the equal size appliance but minimal consuming of electricity. Otherwise, consider its label indicating the efficiency grade, issued by EGAT, the Electricity Generating authority of Thailand. The label No. 5 will be of the highest efficiency appliance.
